Really enjoyed this. I really enjoyed a practical way of making something like this. I was worried it would take great skill but Creek, as always, figured out a way to make it easy!

GOOD INSTRUCTION, I LEARNED A LOT. I LOVE ALL THESE CLASSES I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. THIS WAS AMAZING WE CAN MOVE THINGS WITH OUT HURTING OURSELVES!!

It’s been awhile since I’ve made a net and this was a good refresher. Creek’s video on making an arrowhead or knife from slate was really cool and I can’t wait to try it. The video on making cordage was good content, however, it was tough to see what he was doing. Mandy’s video on knot tying was well done and easy to follow. The video on the leather pouch was cool and enjoyed watching it. Brandi’s tips on drawing were good. My little girl also enjoyed it. The video on the burn bowls was interesting and well thought out. Painting with pencils was fun and easy. My seven year old daughter loved it. Overall, there was a lot to be learned from these lessons. My daughter enjoyed watching some of them with me and we had fun trying our skills with the lessons learned. Thanks for putting this together!

This does an excellent job of making it clear how to make a carrier for a bottle, but also how to make a gill net, or a dip net (though you'll need to figure out how to use a green sapling or branch to bend around and hold the dip net--which is not really a challenge to see...) or about any other net you might want. Glad I saw it! The Bow Backing was wonderful: will likely take that bow course later. Simple, effective, and as a freebie, so to speak, clues me in on making "hide glue" the easy way! Stacy Harris' section on cooking tough cuts to tenderness was great--but with my cooking being what it is (My leftovers are occasionally considered toxic waste), I'll let my wife handle this one! Slate Arrowhead--this was incredible. Yes, this demonstrates how to make an arrowhead out of slate, but it also would be applicable to a knife, or a spear point, or a scraper--just about anything that you might need where there has to be a sharp edge. This is great stuff, and the download on making a slate knife is magnificent! Tracks: The cast creation portion is great, but the second part (looking at tracks) is really fascinating. Again, loving this! Can hardly wait for tomorrow! Hank G. on cordage is great--suddenly, I'm having respect for those crazy thin polymer bags that seem to stack up. He makes it look easy making cordage with this stuff! When I get done with this course, I'm going to check out his course on knives--which is REALLY Hank's thing! Mandy's knot tutorial makes it all look SO simple! And it turns out great. Definitely a great addition to this tutorial--and if you have the paracord, practicing this can definitely make good use of your "shelter-at-home" time! The tutorial on making a leather Altoids tin pouch is really great, at least for a "city boy" like me, who has never worked leather. The basics are covered well, and some nice glosses are added as well. Definitely worth the time to learn, and ultimately to practice! Day 9 and the Blood Bubble and the Triangle of Death: definitely something that needs watched if you're going to work with knives! It is, indeed, basic knife knowledge and etiquette, and is a must-see. Day 10 is drawing: up until this, about all I could draw was criticism and flies... With what I've learned here, I think I might be able to do a creditable job on almost anything before me! Day 11--forging a nail into a small knife. Another instructional gem! Although the work is done with a nail, the principles displayed would be easily scaled (with a little practice) into turning rebar into a decent blade. Day 12: Bowl Burning. This is very practical--burning a bowl is definitely a valuable survival skill, to cook or to boil water. Additional points the course provides--how to split wood without a knife or an ax, and how to do stone boiling. Definitely great stuff! Day 13: I can hardly believe this is so close to done. I've done Creek's Bow Drill course, on video and live as well, and this is a spectacularly good review! Excellent for starter bow drillers, and also for review for old hands! Day 14 is drawing--and approaches it from an entirely different standpoint than the earlier drawing course. Definitely an excellent augmentation of the original course, and great as a stand-alone, as well Finally, the bonus on the flip winch was outstanding. I've seen this demonstrated before, but the almost fractal degree of detailing here is magnificent. I feel confident I could use this to winch almost anything, given cable, cord and poles.

Creek is an excellent teacher. He makes things interesting and works at a pace that is easy to follow.
